If you haven't yet seen google earth you should go check it out, it's cool as fuck. Easily navigatable satellte images of the enitre planet. Some areas are in better resolution than others, LV & surrounding area are among the highest resolution. I can easily tell which vehicles are parked outside my house, but probably couldn't make out a person on the sidewalk (if someone were there when the image was taken). It also knows the topography, you can tilt to get a idea of the mountains & such. From my house I went right to area 51 (type in groom lake) & believe it or not it's all there in the same high resolution. I figured it'd be blacked out or something.
I pulled the heads, pistons & cylinders on the H2 750 because I'm sending them off for some porting & other modifications. That took less than one hour, hurray for two-strokes!
. I want to look into larger carbs, but the problem is going to be finding any that will accept the oil feed lines that pump into the float bowls. I guess my first thing is to find out if round slide 34mm Mikunis use the same float bowl as 30mm. If so, I can just use my old float bowls. I'd rather get some flatslides, but that'd be more money anyhow. I think It'd be wise to pull the whole motor apart for a cleaning & new bearings and seals, so that's the plan. Here's a diagram of how denco used to brace their frames, I'm planning on following this example. The swingarm will probably get a full brace underneath too, although I'd like to just fab a new one using chromoly, we'll see. It's the longest swingarm I've ever seen on a production bike, no wonder it's infamous for its flexibility.

a couple of years ago, during a "hiatus" from my longterm relationship, i initially responded to someoene's online pickup attempt largely because his profile was honest and mentioned that he'd never graduated highschool. it must have appealed to my JAP-debutante-goes-bad streak (i was never a debutante for real). we met almost immediately (protracted online courtship=wasted time, too much buildup, and false impressions, in my humble oppinion). we were together and very happy for a year, and are still close friends. moral: "self-educated" guys are fun! and fun girls know it.
(tho, fun as they may be, said chiquitas still might need the dude to "make the first move" before they feel comfortable showing that they are forward/aggressive types.
