If you need a front stand for your bike, get one of these. They rock. I pulled the rex's wheels & took 'em in for new tires. While putting them back on I noticed that they didn't take the old weights off before balancing them. They just put more weights 180 degrees from the old ones. It's not that big a deal, and not something I'm going to get all pissy about, but it's just stupid. Which is why I don't feel comfortable letting other places take the wheels on & off. If they can't spare ten seconds to remove the old wieghts, they sure as shit aren't going to bother looking up torque specs. Last time I took a bike in for tires they set my chain so loose I could nearly get it off by hand. I'm running out of shops I'd like to give money to. You don't want to hear about the tire shop I took the truck to, trust me.
This week got me thinking about that Chinese foreign minister who recently said that it'd be easy to defeat the U.S. in a war because we have our hands tied with morality concerns or something to that effect. I think he knows our real weakness, but didn't want to draw our attention to it. Tire ineptitude.

I think my comment was taken the wrong way.... I was just tryin to state that the chinese army has alot of old equiptment, and if they ever wanted to invade the U.S. they would need some serious upgrades..... there are alot of people in the U.S. that have access to the same knowledge as many of the insurgents in iraq...... wasnt tryin to sound like a wildman
