The shed is painted & hard at work holding bikes & stuff. I got to see Paul McCartney for free last night, which was totally worth the money. Apparently Paul doesn't want to play to any empty seats, and even though it was sold out some folks won't show up. So Paul asked me to do him a favor and just sit in one of those seats. I had fun, but I'm glad my musical preferences keep me in smaller venues for the most part. I hadn't been there before, the MGM arena is kind of large. 14,000 people, just about the whole population of Boulder City. It felt nice & cozy from the 10th row, though
. He picked the songs I expected. I could have written him a better set list, but I suppose there's a reason he's the multi-schmillionaire. If you're inclined to like old timey rock and roll music, check out the "Beatles Live at the BBC" double cd set. 70+ songs, maybe 15 of which are beatles tunes, the rest are stomping covers. Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, Aurthur Cruddup, Little Richard, Larry Williams, etc...
-This sucks: Justin, the guy who works for me, broke his wrist in a few places & is going in to get some pins put in today. He said probably two months before the cast is off. Poor guy, he's 19 & just started paying rent on a house by himself. I'll do his work rather than look to replace him, he's top notch. Winter is our slow time & I was looking foreward to giving him the majority of the work & getting some shit done on the car. But, such is life eh. If it happened in the springtime it would be a bigger deal and I would break his other wrist.
I think my machine has aquired a viral infection, my norton antivirus isn't working properly, I can't use system restore and my email is going wacky. Time to reboot, I may not be around for a bit.

(But the bike that loves my ass the most is Doug's '75 Norton 850 Commando. Really, it loves me. And I love it, too.)
I'm not sure how long this attack will last. The last week has taken something like a thousand years to pass...
