Wow, building a shed ain't cheap. it's going to be 10'x12' to put four bikes in so I can get my garage back. I'll also keep all the bikes' spares on a shelf I'll build around the perimeter just above the bikes. Then maybe I'll install a dance floor in the garage or something. All the wood shed kits I could find are flimsy aside from tuffshed which would cost about the same & is still a bit less secure & has 1' lower walls. I'll probably use some galvanized c-channel from work for the sub-floor and integrate some kind of recessed hooks to lock the bikes to. The biggest expense would be the wall surfacing, pressboard under horizontal lapped siding would match the house but cost about $800 before tax. I'll look into other stuff.
Last night I stopped at Albertson's for a pint (of ben & jerry's) and left my wallet with about $200 and some credit cards in it. I either left it at the self-checkout or dropped it while getting on the bike. Believe it or not, someone turned it in, cash & all. I didn't figure it out until this morning, nobody there knew if it was an employee or not that turned it in, but the same manager will be working tonight, so I'll find out and give the person $40 and a big THANK YOU! smile I'd say "only in bouder city", but true or not, I prefer to believe people are generally good and I'm happy to add another experience to that pile. Cheers!

Update- the employee who turned it in was a super lady who goes by the name "turbo", or maybe that's just the managers nickname for her. She absolutely would not take the $40, either. I tried insisting, and on the way out I tried to get the manager to take it so she could give it to turbo once I left, but that didn't work either. So here's to turbo and good peoples everywhere kiss .
