I have entirely too much fun, I really don't deserve it. Today I'm still removing sand from my ears, nose and other places after a long weekend at the dunes (Glamis). My cousin bought another sand rail after a few years without one. It's got some minor issues but the 2180 runs like a rabid dog. His wife is truly the best in all regards, but the following takes the cake. While he & I went swimming in the canal she took it for a spin. After a bit we're hearing some VW powered machine going balls out up & down the sand highway that runs along the edge of the dunes. I said jokingly "dude, listen to Tanya thrashing your car!" "Oh yeah, right. If that were her I'd be seriously impressed, but there's no way that's her." I egged him on saying, "I can tell that's your car. You don't know what it sounds like, you're always driving." We listened a while longer & decided to climb out & have a look just in case. Sure enough, it was her. We counted upshifts twice & she was full out in top gear (4th) for pretty long stretches. It doesn't have a speedo, but it is seriously fast. She came back to pick us up with one of these: .

Lovingly refered to as "the anti-christ of motorcycles" kawasaki's two stroke triples were notorious for their insane power and dubious handling. In front is an 75 H2 750, behind an 74 H1 500. Got five large boxes of parts, too. I absolutely do not need either of these motorcycles, and would gladly trade one for a red-head with a similar temperment (which would probably get me into an equal amount of trouble).
