Happy 75th birthday to my town.

"Boulder City was initially created to house the workers who built Boulder (Hoover) Dam, and as such, was a significant and integral part of the successful completion of the Boulder Canyon Project. Constructed in 1931 in the midst of the Great Depression, Boulder City was conceived by the Federal Government as an ideal town, a "model" city to which...

nothing's up, i just like you.

i hope you didn't lose anything important in your computer transition. if you need them i have your image of the cutest kitten ever and also the hot chick peeing into the gas tank saved. these things are important, so let me know.

100 emails - who are you? that's crazy.

i'm turning 30 way soon, which rules. 20's can bite me.

i'm totally with you on the "older" SG front. tho - agreed - Flux will more than do, meanwhile. she seems . . . nice.

i wish i had a brother. 'night.

oh, ps - jason and i found an apartment. hardwoods, fireplace, my own study. in an old 1910 house. if bored and girly, reference Wednesday's latest journal entry for a total incarnation of what i'd envisioned for bedroom decor.

What do you have against Kokopelli? He's a blast to party with!

Or did you mean Kokopelli?

As for UTMC nick names, I'm already "guitargeek" over there. I don't look like much of a wolf, anyway. More of a Sasquatch, if anything...

All is well but my computer is fucked. I think oscar (my cat) was getting into the kitty porn while I was away & got some kind of virus. It worked fine before I left but is a lost cause it seems. I'll be back around shortly.

I'm back with a new computer. What did I miss? Any over 30 photosets? Maybe that's too much to ask. Over 25? Has kokopeli showed up on this site anywhere? I'm gonna kill that motherfucker until he's dead.

Hey, I finally watched Rendezvous! Wow! I can't get enough of the sound of that engine, when he blips the throttle to downshift... Ferrocious!

This is so cool it's beyond words. If it were filmed today for the purpose of putting it on the internet so the creator could stroke his ego it would be lame in a dozen ways. But since it took place in 1976 it is very cool. Do not question my logic, it is flawless.

I don't know if the unnamed drama will be over or not, but I did manage to find some peace of mind by swallowing my pride, which is the last fucking thing I ever consider. So I won't be taking a fishing trip with a bait bucket full of somebody's intestines this weekend. Whether or not he's still intent on feeding me my own ears...

If I remember correctly there was serialised rebuild of a KH in a mag I buy each month called Classic Motorcycle Mecahnics. Looked awesome when it was finished. I'd love to be able to tackle a classic resto myself but I don't have the tools, space or the tech know-how, so I just read about other peoples and dream. smile
Yeah that message from Blyss put a spring in my step lately I can tell you. How hot is that lady???
Good luck on the build dude.

It's weird when life is going smoothly and domesticated, after years of courting chaos, confusion, and self-destruction.

little steven's underground garage on sirius satellite radio is the best radio station i've ever heard, hands down. absolutely brilliant. Presently Ko Melina (hot girl) is playing the mummie's "(you must fight to live on) the planet of the apes". It was the sonics before that. Handsome Dick Manitoba has a show as does JOAN JETT. Now Ko is playing the stooges. Is there a...

Trust me, you're going to want some kind of variable buffer between the ipod and the amp. You can mount the EQ in the glove box. You could use the attenuator on the amplifier, but that could be kinda hard to reach in a hurry...

There was a guy on alt.guitar.amps who build a 600 watt all tube guitar amp... with no controls. He ran this 200 pound monster head into a homebuilt speaker cabinet with eight 15" speakers. He relied on the volume on his guitar (which is plenty dumb from a gainstaging standpoint), but think about this: the amp is wide open all the time. If he were to step on his cord and it came out of the guitar's output jack... he'd be sterilized!
(Remember the scene at the beginning of Back To The Future?)
guitargeek:
it'd be horrible plugging & unplugging the pod with the car running. Not to mention that I'd rather not have the amps running whether I'm listening or not...

Well, the amplifier would have a remote power line, which is a wire you hook to a circuit that's only on when the car's running. The actual power lines come straight off the battery. You could put a switch in this remote line to shut the amp off when you want to.

OR you could just mount a head unit in the glove box... Browse.

Even if you fill the tank like this a 500 H1 would eat any production harley for lunch (especially in 74 lady).
I'm as proud to call America home as anyone you'll ever meet, but I'm overjoyed that Harleys are largely made of Japanese parts now. It just makes me giggle with joy. She's got some legs though, don't she? Hope her 'ol man don't...

I got some good news from the machine shop that's modifying the H2 cylinders, pistons & heads. The bores are standard size with nearly no wear. In other words, the 3,900 miles on the odometer are accurate. At purchase I assumed otherwise based on condition of the bike. But looking things over closer, there doesn't appear to be a lot of wear, just a lot...
