Remember me being all excited about Redd Kross a while back? Well I watched for tickets to go on sale on two sites, the venue's and the "don't knock the rock" festival's. Went straight from ticket sales to be announced to tickets sold out. 200 seats is all they were selling. I've got a plane ticket from colorado home to vegas just to get back...

Oh fuck it all, I needs an irresponsible velocity fix. good thing it's friday. My JOURNALs haven't been so entertaining lately, so I devised a game to play this time around. I shall call it "name that hippie." Actually I've been digging some of this guy's stuff which I'd dismissed previously, much like Dylan a couple months ago. Let's hope it's not a serious trend....

ok enough complaining. nowadays when i try to get myself into bitching about something it's uncomfortable. i've really taken to being happy and grateful in the last few years. some punk i turned out to be. as if that weren't enough I now have 4 years no booze or drugs. whatever will happen next? will I take up crochet? not complaining, but can i state...

when i first read the stock caption next to my picture, a little part of me fleetingly thought: did they write this just for MEEEEE??? truth. anyway, dude, crochet punk is the new drunkpunk, i promise. serious, all the punx who survived work at - or run, if they're lucky - video stores, so by comparison, you STILL out-punk them!
and just a heads-up (as if you need it): the new Blyss set will make you lose your . . . mind. yo. she makes me wanna be a better lesbian.

I like journal...has that sophistication to it.....good luck with the crochet
I don't really have much to report, nothing new on the bike scene really. I'm sad over what's happened to my favorite local auto parts store. It had been owned by the same family for as long as I've lived here & it was hands down the best all-around auto parts I've dealt with. They could get anything they didn't stock, usually the same day,...

You can blame the repugnicans for this trend. They only care for the bottom line. Gordon Gekko is their role model...

Yeah, mine's the 1200R. 2002 model. Has nearly 25,000 miles on it now and still in lovely condition. Maybe the shocks and fork springs are needing attention tho. Maybe thats causing the handling problem.
Cheers

you're my punk rock ted nugent. it finally hit me today, out of nowhere - it felt like breaking a secret code. i hope you don't take it the wrong way. re: your 4 day weekend, you should play. maybe go hunting?
kenyon:
i'm glad it's a good thing. i don't know how much you know of the nuge, but it definitely could be taken as a diss. clearly you get the spirit in which it's intended! you conservative weirdo whom i adore. as a friend.
re: the envelope tattoo, it used to be a lot closer to my neck, but that was 12 years ago. o gravity, up yours.
I've been having fun riding the mach III around. I was having a dilema deciding on a two-stroke oil to use. The smell of castor bean based oil is the most wonderfully intoxicating smell in the whole world. Whenever I catch a whiff from someone's weedwhacker or chainsaw it just flips on the awesome memory switch, you know? A lot has changed since I was...

My Kawasaki factory service manual gives detailed instructions for checking to see if a valve is bent. No, I think the previous owner was just ignorant and didn't realize that he needed to replace the valve shims. That'll cause low compression, since the valves aren't closing all the way...

Never heard that version, if you got an mp3, would be nice. Just checked out the yazoo site, gonna place an order in the morning for some Tampa Red.
I've come to the conclusion that there is no disorder so wonderful as whatever happened to Bob Dylan in 1965 and 1966. I've yet to hear the country-leaning "John Wesly Harding" album that followed in 1967, although I hear it's chock full of biblical imagery which should put it straight up my alley.

$1000.00 for two stitches (30 minutes tops in the ER). Not me, peroxide and duct tape works fine on small wounds. Nowadays you can't really say to an employee "sit down. I'll fix you up. You want whiskey on the wound, in your mouth, or both?" You think it's alright for me to suggest that he take it easy on the energy drinks? He's a...

Pregnant women freak me out.
The term, "baby shower" freaks me out. I imagine a rain of infants falling from the sky.
Once I dreamed I gave birth to a puppy. That's as close as I've ever come to thinking pregnancy was a nice thing. I have no maternal instinct whatsoever, except for dogs.
