My debut set “Hot Wheels” went dropped to member review today! I wanted to write a little blurb about this set, because it is very near and dear to my heart. You see, this was my first foray back into the modeling scene since my becoming reliant on mobility aids. I had to start using my wheelchair *most* of the time back in March of 2019. (SURPRISE!!! For all y’all who are new around here, YES I CAN (kind of) WALK!) I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a genetic connective tissue disorder causing defective collagen formation, and while I was born with EDS, it began affecting my mobility back in the spring of 2018. I started out just using a cane on bad days, then all the time, then forearm crutches, and now the chair. Losing my mobility at 26 took a MAJOR toll on my mental health ESPECIALLY my self-image. When the darling @pinkyrose invited me to her Shootfest last May, I was hesitant to say the least. I’ve been modeling for quite a while now (10 years! What?!), but I wasn’t sure if I felt sexy enough for the kind of shots I’d seen in her portfolio! Obviously I did show up and when I brought up the idea of using my chair in the shoot, Pinky was 100% on board. Nothing could’ve prepared me the final set she sent me. I cried when I saw it. It was the first time I’d ever seen myself as both sexy AND disabled. This got me to thinking, how many other disabled humans out there have gone their entire lives either not feeling sexy themselves or never seeing another person with disabilities portrayed as a sexual being in the media? So I went to look for other wheelchair babes on SG!...welp, there weren’t any. This set became the first step in my journey to remind people that disabled humans are indeed sexual beings both in look and practice! I may not look like you, function like you, or fuck like you, but here’s the thing, I can do (*almost*) whatever it is I set my mind up to do. I may need a little more help along the way, but I promise you, I’ll do it. Today’s goal: Become the first well known disabled Suicide Girl! Won’t you help me achieve my goal?
