Went to work early today for an all employee meeting.........great news...... they are shutting down our company at the end of next week..... thats it.....the party's over after 48 years in business! I have called that place home for the past 9.
I thought we had made it through the tough times and things were looking up..... in the past year we have seen most of out competitors fall..... thought we might be able to be last man standing but I guess its not the case. The printing industry in the Bay Area as well as the entire state has turned to a big pile of shit. Alot of work being moved out of state and overseas to less costly and more manufacturing friendly places. Kinda like the whole woodshop business for the skateboarding industry !
I'll be starting off 04 unemployed.... think I am gonna take some time and figure out what I want to do. Maybe have to hook up with McQueen for some daytime sessions at Sunnyvale.
