It's street date day. I have to be at work at 4am 
. The good news is that Ben Folds has his new cd released today available in regular and Dual Disc format. Unfortunately, I already ordered the deluxe edition off of the website in order to get a bonus cd and a free download of a stringed version of "Landed". I've listened to that song like a hundred times already. I have no idea when I'll get it in the mail though, so I may have to break down and buy the Dual Disc version today. Yeah. I love Ben that much! 
Lemony Snickett is also released today. So are the Family Guy special editions (released with the muxic cd and a shirt, I think).
Yesterday was super busy. I was going to take lunch around 10:30am but didn't get to it until 1pm. A lot of our Electronic clearance went 50% off and our floor displays of TV's and digital cameras get an additional 30% off of the clearance price because we don't keep the cords, remotes, or software with them. Days like today make me wish that I made commision. The store manager came by to see me work my salesmanship though. It basically goes like this:
Guest "I'm not sure if I want to buy this."
Me "Come on!"
Guest "Okay. I'll take it!"
Damn. I'm such a charmer.
A lot of the workers were getting in on the great deals. A lady got the Sony cybershot T1 (that one that Aerosmith's Steven Tyler shills for in those commercial's). The original price was $450. It had dropped to $400. With it being clearance at 50%, it became $200 plus 30% off for being a display and her 10% off for working there. $130!!! plus we even had the charger for it! LCD TV's were going just as low.
I bought me a webcam that was normally about $70 for $15. Fun Fun! Now y'all can see me in my scuzzed out state anytime I'm on the Yahoo. I don't know how to work it on AIM yet.
Well... I best be getting something to eat and shower before work.
