I got plenty of sleep and am still tired. REALLY BORING DAY! Plus, I'm coming down with the sickness. It looks like orange juice (orange soda's evil cousin), kleenex, and pills are in my near future.

I'm just waiting to go to work. That sucks. Worst thing than being there is waiting to go. 3-10:30. I think I'm hanging with the guys after but not sure about it.

I have the weekend off. I have a dinner date with Angie on Saturday. And a thingy on Sunday. Hope I'm feeling well.

Take care all!
Love ya's!

i haven't seen much gay and lesbian porn. i did get into a conversation with one of my gay male friends about it, though. we both sort of agreed that there's more equality in gay porn. certainly you can discuss the dynamics of tops and bottoms, but a lot of them switch around. and i think that it is a little different when you're watching two members of your same sex and objectifiying that. i don't know that many guys who have issues with straight porn, but certainly i know girls that do. it's different to watch your own sex being the only one truly objectified.

as for objectification in general, i think all/most porn is a form of it. i think my issue is that a lot of porn is not equal in it's justification.

you brought up women who have been previously abused, and i honestly don't know that many who haven't been in some form or other, you know? and i guess that's the thing: it's a societal problem. certain aspects of porn are really symptoms of the disease, not the actual illness itself. and when you start talking about the "disease", you're starting an entirely different debate.

did that make sense?
