I love this town when it's cool outside, just comfortable enough for me to wear pants and still get away with a t-shirt. Today's pants are white, thin cotton pants with navy blue stitching. The white is really more an off-white almost khaki that looked darker in the store surrounded by khakis and pre-faded blue jeans. I bought them giving little mind to their cut; they looked like they'd be comfortable and, more more importantly, they were twelve dollars. So they went in my bag and into my life.

I don't really buy clothes that often and, when I do, I don't really buy that many. Something about spending so much money on something I can only really wear a few articles at a time just puts me off, somehow. I also tend to wear everything until it either fades into unrecgnizability or falls apart. Of course, there is always the posibility that I might lose any one piece at any given time, thus mandating multiple purchases of anything I happen to really, really like. My absolute favorite pair of pants at the moment are these drawstring pajama pants, dark olive green with red stitching at the tips of the strings and almost meaningless cargo pockets consisting of two separate squares of fabric. I loved the way they fit and bought two pairs in the green and one pair in navy blue (the latter I can't locate at the moment).

Those pants are a sort of comfort costume for me, too casual to be impressive, really, but invariably something that makes me feel like me. When paired with the frankenixon shirt, the girl one, I feel as if I have armor.

Anyway, I think this wireless card works. Time to go home.
