1) Ya know, none of the women on
Playboy's "hottest indie rock chick" list really did much for me, because for me, the hottest indie rock musician in the ENTIRE WORLD is Kathy Foster. I'm sorry, but every time I see her, I want to die. (She was at the Mono show on the 14th, and I think Janet Weiss was there too...). I mean, Kathy's gorgeous in that way that you just want to talk to her and get her to like you before you ask her to marry you. Too cool. TOO COOL. And, when I actually met her, I was a complete fucking nervous idiot. Story of my life.
(P.S. Eleni Mandell, Mia Doi Todd, Pamela Valfer (Kittycraft), and Allison Wolfe (Bratmobile) all get love, too. Strong women = HOT.)
2) I just cut my toenails for the first time in at least a month. It's weird, the things you forget about when you're depressed.
