So I'm in Auburn visting Mom and well y'know can't sleep (see occupation under profile). So I'm in Auburn and well what do you do at almost 2 in the morning here? You update your journal on SG because, well, I like to go walking or driving late at night when I can't sleep. Driving is not an option while I am here and quite honestly walking around suburban towns like this late at night kinda scares me. It scares me way more than walking around in Seattle or for that matter other big cities. So I am trying to figure out how to make it down to San Francisco and it seems like there is a caravan heading down this weekend. I think I might try to catch a ride w/ somebody. Not sure if going to Prom would be an option or not. I just want to go because, well, for those of you keeping score at home that girl who was leaving town that I had a crush on that I mentioned in a past journal entry, well, she lives down there. The last night she was supposed to be in town we were going to get together but her ride decided to leave early. Sorry folks none of this is really that important ( I mean for fucks sake have you all seen the pictures from the prisons in Iraq ), just remember it is only an SG journal entry and you're free to continue surfing the site at any time. For those of you still with me here we go: So she is gone and calls me the next day and says that she was totally interested in me but she was leaving and didn't know what to do and wasn't sure if she wanted to do anything. So naturally I am thinking I gotta get down there and see her... like... NOW. Problem is I cannot seem to find a method of transportation that will fit into the parameters of my meager budget. Additionally we are both very, very relationship inept and it is really unclear what our expectations of each other are. Has anyone heard of the Quirkyalone phenomenon? Well that is the both of us. I am thinking realistically in the fact that she lives hundreds of miles away from me and the long distance thing just doesn't feel like an option. I know there are some folks around here who are seeing people under similar circumstances (advice?). There are people who live very close to me right now that I am also interested in, but I really connected with her in the short time that we had to spend with each other and so there are alot of big what-ifs surrounding the situation. I gotta get some answers and I gotta get them soon. So...
