School Days
Taking in a breath as she rests her head among the bed frame, frame the shot, a young girl at the end of her first day of high school, her body is sore and exhausted and she still has homework to attend to. She pulls out a notebook, which is slowly taking on more sketches than it is notes. She was so bored sitting there class after class, as she listens to the teacher spoon-feed everyone around her. Tonight she has to do a paper for her English class, it's your typical first day of school, tell us about yourself sort of paper, thinking to herself it would of been smart if I had saved the one I wrote last year. No matter what grade you're in, it always seems like you end up doing it every year, high school was no different, just a few new changes in herself, but as far as school goes it's always the same old thing it will always be, the summer never seems to change. A trip to your relatives who seem to live in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by no sort of modern convince, like they refuse to give up the past and accept that things are changing, followed by your typical condition of being un hirable for most jobs which greatly lower your chances of any other activities, but she has always like the ending, when mom takes her to get new clothes and school supplies, you always try to sneak in a few more items than are required, using the oh so famous line "I need it for school"
