So I have to walk to work again today which sucks....
But I started to think of the lighter side of things when I have been handed some lemons. I got a brand new ipod the other day since I was still under warrenty so I will be able to catch up on all the songs I have just recently purchessed. I have been really big into Alice Cooper's "Along Came The Spider" which is one of my favorite alblums I have heard from him (I know I dont come off as a Alice Cooper fan) it's a concept which makes me smile a lot cause that usually the medium I work in.
It's sort of a forced excersise even though I walk almost every night any way this will deffiently help me shed off the extra poinds. I weighed myself and I am at like 145, when I used to be at 110, I need to find a healthy middle ground, cause now I dont really want to eat
I also get so paranoid lately about my parents coming into my room while I am away. I am not sure its going to happen ever but the thought is always constant in my mind so I have been like super extra spring cleaning so in case that it dose happen there wont be anything here I would be embrassed about them seeing.
I am on my third day of being Sober? well since Saturday night I guess when they tried to do an intrevention.
But in all seriousness, I am always amazed when I find bands who do covers of songs and yet find a way to top the original, its almost like how some sequals can live up to the first one. I'm not a Cradle Of Filth fan by any means, and I have tried to be on more than one ocasion, to me they are like Dark Tranquillity and Sentenced, and there is just not a big place in my heart for metal like that. I know some of you love those kind of metal bands, and thats okay too, I have been known on ocasion to listen to Crematory and Amorphis, but I will say this, I will always me moved to awesome ness when I hear both Cradle Of Filth's take on Iron Maiden's classic song "Hallowed Be Thy Name", and Sister's Of Mercy "No Time To Cry" it's like the did something right, and even bands I love such as Children Of Bodom, seriously your Aces High cover?, or what the heck was Iced Earth's "Tribute To The Gods" album really about?
Just cause I still sleep with stuffed animals, and wear cats eye glasses on ocassion, dosnt mean I dont know other genres other than indie pop music and Elvis Costello
I heard Dragonforce has a new album coming out that is supposed to akin to Sonata Arctica's "Winterhearts Guild" (though its no Silence) still a strong album from SA, which makes me think I am going to finally want to give Dragonforce more of a shot out side of playing GH3
Yes this entry is also sort of to impress a dorky metal girl I have a crush on. I can talk metal and make cute mix tapes at the same time
