You Should Make Time Said The Farmer....
I was reading over the old posts and how the memory of Halloween a fewyears back was like one of the best things ever. I think thats why I am so down all the time lately, is because without a car, I lost this freedom to just discover and strike out on my own and see where I end up. I lost the oppertunity to meet some one new, unless they drive, which isnt fair of me to ask them to come to me. Though it has happened and worked out in my favor. I miss driving along side some one and sharing my coat or scarf when it gets cold, fighting over the radio, and music selection, having them take your hand while you drive, kissing your cheek at a red light.
I miss all the little things that people take for granteed.
..........
How wierd is it that in today's society that those of us, who love all the sweet tender moments are looked at like we are crazy. Its almost like romance has died in these modern times of lusting after the girl behind the glass. Everyone is looking for that quick fix, when everything thats worth anything demands us to work bit of harder.
A miss the days when all you had to do was run up and take some ones hand, or when all you did for the first couple months was get to know one and other over coffee and walks around the block talking and exchanging innocent eyed glances. Where the first kiss was a tad awkward and neither of you knew who kissed who. It just happend but cause you werent expecting anything to happen.
I have loved and lost with the best of us. I have had my moments of seizing the moment and crossing the borders of various states and emotional states, but still after three years of those crossed stars and telephone lines. I cant help but still look out to those same stars and make more wishes, as I sent letters in place of words to the God of love and understanding, asking for him to guide us lost in starry night landscapes.
I know I got a bit creative at the end but I hope this sparks something inside some of you out there who's embers have fallen dim to the rain that pours from the lonely nights at home.
As you ask why the soles of your feet cant lead you to the arms of those you wish to meet.
I will end this post with some lyrics from Azure Ray
So this is love...well thats a lovely thought
You have to care for it, to keep it together
