Overlooking The Plaza

She saw them from the corner of her eye, every time she see's them together she wants to run and hide behind the counter in hopes that they dont notice that her gaze is transfixed on them. It's not that she wants him back, after the way they both acted the two of them deserve each other, but the way the wool was pulled across everyone's eyes still leaves a bit of a sting, ever since he fooled around behind her back with a member of the band she was hoping would make it further than the lthe secrets behind the music. He'll check in from time to time to see how much better off he is doing without you, to make sure your still stuck a lone with an empty bottle of wine tilt down beside you. Luckily she is a writer and quick on her feet, so if they catch her off gaurd, she will be able to weave a strong tale through the awkward silence. The reason she hates seeing them hand in hand is because it forces her to see what she could and didnt get to have. Time has passed her by and so she cradles the bottle and walks through the sand, where some times she can hear the sound of the birds as the get ready for the long night ahead of both of them.
