I am really really lame....
I realized this just now, I mean what else should you do with your day off other than you know nit pick every aspect in your life. I dont know I used to think maybe I was just like way too innocent and a tad old fashioned.

I spend a lot of my time on Itunes, I know i should be saving money but I think I like the instant gratification of being able to buy something online and having it within a few seconds. Though what I noticed is over the last few weeks. The music I have been buying is older than me. I have downloaded albums by George Harrison, Ringo Starr, The Kinks, Cat Stevens. I am just like I dont think anyone these days knows how awesome the musicians of the band Yes are outside from "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" or that I secretly want to have the song "Sweet Is The Night" by Electric Light Orchastra to play at my wedding.
Probably why I get yelled at by some of my bands fans, cause I tell them just cause this album is simplistic pop music, that eventually we are going to go into more progressive Jethro Tull, Decemberists roots. I have been into a very country folk type mode, so some very Johnny Cash, Murder By Death stuffs bound to come up.I believe when you write something you never know what its going to be till it comes out and then it takes a life of its own.
I can only get into certain kinds of books, mostly books that embrace all sorts of outside elements. Nick Horby is a big influence on me, since he knows how to incorporate other mediums. See the reason I think I might be able to pull off a novel (not to sound pretencious cause I am not) but I write my books like they were lyrics and vice versa and I think when you have books based on songs and songs that have a concept and you sort of blur those lines together you have something interesting for both a reader or a listener, then if you can through in some visuals you have something thats not hanging on to one form of art.
It's really hard for me to finish projects, since the way I write is I will be listening to something and then all the sudden I will get a line or two, and then the next thing that comes will have notthing to do with it so I am stuck with a ton of couplets,
I am old fashioned and maybe thats really lame, but I am pretty sure that there is more people out there like me, Id like to thing I have a match, that hopefully wont burn out. I love to share and discuss things and see how a person reacts to things.
