There is no use to go into work in a good mood.
I was talking to my friend Stephanie about that yesterday, you can come in with the most positive outlook on the day and have it taken away within the first few min of your shift. I went in like that yesterday and the girl who was supposed to stay till 3:30, was like I have to leave right now cause I got school in a few hours. I am like um okay. I mean I dont have power over her or anything. Some lady told me she was never coming back because I misunderstood what drink she wanted me to make her, then when I offered to fix it she threw a fit.
Things with the band seem well the same, Charlie only responds to my AIM maybe once a month or so where I present up with a list of things we need to do. He gave me a final version of the Magnetic Fields song "All My Little Words" which has made its home on our MySpace page. I am still waiting for him to give me a demo of Cake's "No Phone" from back around my birthday (which I guess we are going to do in a regge style) Then we discussed my tribute to the amazing rock band The Kinks in which we agreed on "Till The End Of The Day" and portraying it in a early Police style, and I am not opposed to playing a very Sting influenced bassline
I loved all the comments I got yesterday...
It really dose help make bad work days go by faster cause for some reason it wont let me text message people as of late, so signing on to like SG and AIM, and just chatting to people helps kill the time.
I am pretty sure works going to suck tonight....which hopefully will mean it will be better than I planned for
