Had a fantastic day yesterday. Took it upon myself to go visit my old home town, where I grew up, of Formby, in Merseyside. I'd swear blind the roads weren't that thin when I left and, with the exception of one bookstore, all the family owned businesses I remember have gone.
Still, after 15+ years time does move on and the changes I saw did seem for the best. Funnily enough outside my old home there was still a cat meowing to get in and best of all I was able to reestablish contact with an old buddy of mine from my high school days.
All in all, a good day.

That sounds like a great day The last time I went back to my old area where I grew up...It was scary to me how much it changed and how downhill it's gone.
