A torturous condition to a spin cycled submission,
You know, sometimes it just feels better to give in.
(Sometimes, it just feels better to give in.)

And it's all too familiar
And it happens all the time.
All the cards begin to stack up,
Twisting heartache into fine
Little pieces that avoid an awful crime,
But it's you I can't deny.
(You I can't deny.)

Familiar Territory

Once again, I find myself feeling under the weather on a regular basis. It must be the time of the year I supposeThe last few months of the year are always hard on me.

I was doing well for a while. I had gone about a month of being relatively healthy. Then I had a minor sinus infection. Ok, no big deal. But it is like, after that sinus infection, I never returned to a state of being healthy. I just kind of topped off and feeling kind of "bleh." And things only went down from there. I've been having facial pains again, my nose is horrible, and just last night I had another nosebleed (Which sucks because I had gone quite some time without having one).

It certainly isn't a welcome homecoming to this familiar territory for me. I was actually getting my hopes up there for a second. In that period of good health, I fell in temptation and began to think that this was the endThat I might finally be in the closing acts of this tragedy. How completely foolish of me. Haven't I learned from times past that I shouldn't get my hopes up about my condition? Haven't I've been burned time after time again by such thoughts?

But I suppose it doesn't matter much as those thoughts were short lived. Just days after having them, I found myself where I am todayFeeling that all too familiar sickness.

Halloween

Well, for those of you who don't know, I dressed up as the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Unfortunately, my dad's camera had a dead battery, so I was left fending for myself in poor lighting with my own camera. Needless to say, the picture didn't come out, so I did some quick altering of it, and you'll get the basic idea:

The costume came complete with a detachable arm! For some better pictures of the costume, you can check out this site: Spirit - Monty Python Knight.

I went trick or treating with my bro's family. It was their first time goingWas so funny seeing the kid's reactions. They were so amazed that you could just go up to someone's house and they'd give you candy. I spent most of the night taking my arm off, grabbing it by the shoulder, and using it to swing the sword at my brother. After a while it became a bit of a hassle to keep the arm attached, so I slung the sword over my should and left the arm hanging to the ground (It was attached to the sword hilt with safety pins). I actually got a few compliment on the whole costume, so I was happy biggrin

After the kids got tired (Which was about two blocks), I met up with my mom and walked over to her friend's house for a bit. Stayed there for a while and chatted, then came home, and Halloween was officially over. It was such a weak turnout this yearWas sad to be honest. Back in my day, people would load up their cars and drive out to our neighborhood! Not these days thoughWe didn't see a single trick or treater until like 45 minutes after sunset, and after that, they were few and far between. Hell, half the houses on our block were dark and had no one home

The night was still relatively young, so Derek calls me up and we head out to his friend's house. We watched some home made movie clips for a bit, then some more guys came over and we all started watching Saw. Derek and I had to leave earlier since he had work the next day (Sucker).

Oh! And before I forget, here are some pictures of my pumpkin!

It was a "headshot" pumpkin. So that big hole in the side is the exit wound. And then I made brains out of spaghetti and pumpkin pieces. Dipped them in a mixture of fake blood, water, and red food coloring to make them look a bit bloody. If I would have had more time, I would have gone out and bought a toy gun to superglue to the other side of it. Oh well, I still like it biggrin

Call Me Scorsese!

Ok, ok, so maybe I'm not that good yet. But I did happen to make my first movie! Granted, it is a Counter-Strike: Source movie, but damn it, it is a movie nonetheless!

Phoenix: Volume 1

My head is full of ideas, and now that I have a bit more footage, I'm going back through all of my clips and working on getting another one out. It is incredibly fun to make movies like this biggrin

In other CSS news, I was disputed in our last match. I had dropped in the middle of the second half, and I think the other team was looking for a cheap win and hoping that I hadn't re-recorded my demo (In which case, I would have been suspended, and the match would have been overturned). I haven't received any word on the status of the whole ordeal, but I'm not worried since I had all of my evidence and whatnot.

My Brand New Camera!!!

Some of you may remember that not too long ago, I wrote about purchasing a new camera. Well, after a bunch of issues with the company, that bad boy finally arrived! Sadly, I can't use it until Christmas (Part of the deal I made with my parents), but I did talk my way into getting to take a few test shots to make sure everything was in working order. Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing to shoot around here (No flowers in bloom, no insects, no birds, no spiders, no nothing), so I ended up taking some pictures of toys I had nearby.

The Wrap-Up

Well, my face hurts, so I'm ending this post here. Hope you all are doing much better than me. I'll try to be more activeI know I've been MIA from pretty much all of my sites.

Have a good one peoples!
