A Note from the Editor

Am I the only one that finds it weird when a discussion on TV about the conflicts between Hollywood and religion (Christianity in particular) quickly changes to Brad's and Angelina's baby?

When did their baby become more important than God?

Easter

Easter was great. We ended up having my brother and his girlfriend, and my grandmother come over for a delicious dinner consisting of ham, scallop potatoes, green bean casserole, corn, and bread rolls. Washed it all down with a Jone's Strawberry Manilow I got in my basket.

Apparently, the day was just a little too boring for everyone, so my parents decided it would be a great idea to put some money in some eggs and have my brother and I look for them. At $5 apiece, we put aside our brotherly love for greed.

That was before we even got started. We each ended up with two eggs ($10), but there was definitely a fight for the last one. We suck at egg hunts, so my dad ended up giving us hints. I figured out where the last egg was, and my brother instantly started following me. It was under a rock, so I tried to lead my brother away. When I though I was far enough away, I pulled off a spin move and went down to get the egg. My brother was right there with me and tackled me to the ground...After a few minutes of wrestling, I finally squirmed free enough to grab the money (The egg had already broken apart in our skirmish). Definitely a good time, but rolling around in the grass was hell on my allergies (And clothes), and I ended up with bruises on my arm, and a really banged up knee (Think I landed on a rock).

If Only Boredom Led to Productive Outcomes

I was really bored today. And two things usually happen when I'm bored; first, I start messing with my hair, second, I start taking pictures of my hair. With that being said, I give to you, "Electrocution!"

I really need a haircut. I'm trying to grow it out and get it long enough to comb back. But I need it trimmed up...The back is bugging me.

The inspiration:

Although with my facial hair, and intention to grow a goatee over the summer, I think I am going to end up looking more like Mike Piazza.

Every Normal Man Must be Tempted at Times to Spit on his Hands, Hoist the Black Flag, and Begin Slitting Throats

I have been angry lately. As always, this anger is directed at my sister. (The following occurred last Wednesday) So, she calls the house, and I answer, thinking it would be my mom. "Mom knows I'm coming over" she tells me. Upon verification, I discover she has lied, in an attempt to make me let her in. Fuck that. I'm not going to waste the energy watching her like a hawk to ensure that none of our valuables mysteriously disappear. So, she ended up waiting outside until my mom showed up, whatever.

Anyway, she had been doing who knows what before she came over, because she instantly fell asleep (A sign that she has been using something). While putting away her jacket, my mom somewhat discovered the drug in question; unidentifiable pills in a small plastic bag. Also in the pocket of the jacket was an ATM card, which didn't belong to her.

Morning came around, and my mom was quick to get her out of the house. Of course, my sister gave about 500 reasons why she shouldn't go to their destination (A place that some family member had set up for my sister to stay at).

I just don't get it. She's fucked over everyone and people are still willing to help her, but she just doesn't want to do anything. She just got offered a place to stay and has (Or more likely had) a job ready for her, and I'm willing to bet that she made it about a day in the new place before finding some excuse to leave, if she gave any at all.

So, that's why I was angry. And today, I released that anger. I went in the backyard, adorned my Schampa balaclava and paintball mask, loaded up my paintball gun, and fired off a few rounds. Even though I was just shooting at a tree stump (From various angles, approaches, hands, and behind different coverings mind you), it was quite stress relieving. I got a fever, and the only way to cure it is more paintball baby! I really need to get a few friend and start going again. Looks like we know how I'll be spending my summer vacation, ha!

The Art Scene

My art is horrific right now to say the least. I am so out of practice and everything feels forced beyond belief. This sucks because we are working on eight page comics right now.

I've decided to adapt the first section of Fahrenheit 451 into a comic for the project. I'm looking forward to the project, but I just wish that I could actually draw right now.

No way to get back into the grove except to draw my ass off. Sadly, I seem to be procrastinating (This journal is a result of that procrastination).

Oh well, I suppose I should be getting to work then.

The Wrap-Up

So, if anyone wants to go paintballing some time, let me know and we'll work on getting some people together and going out.

Hope you all had a great Easter. Take care!

PS: If you didn't read my last update, go do so now. Thank you.
