The Good
OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!! I *finally* have an internet connection in my room!!! No more spliting time with my dad. No more hearing lectures and being blamed for viruses, spyware, etc. No more having to visit sites secretly *Cough* SG *Cough*.
My birthday is on Monday! Parents and I went to Best Buy last night and picked up a few early gifts. Got the Logitech G5 mouse. It is unbelievably sexy. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the Logitech G15 keyboard
Not sure if my parents are going to pick one up elsewhere or wait until Tuesday for the new shipment. Also picked up a couple of CDs. I have a horrible memory, so I can only remember one of the two I got: The Ultimate Billy Idol. Oh yes, I know, you're jealous.
Before we went to Best Buy, we went to the La Mesa Cafe for dinner. Sadl the food was just average. My parents swear their breakfasts are way better. Anyway, our waitress was extremely pretty. She was a little older. An aged beauty. Unbelievably gorgeous. She had a foreign accent, but I couldn't place it.
A couple random things I remembered from last weekend. The twins were here. They discovered a stuffed octopus my grandma had given me. Emily calls it an "opotus." It is extremely cute when she says it, and we had her say it about 500 million times lol. Emily was also in an artistic mood this visit. Spent the night drawing. She is incredibly talented for a four (Soon to be five) year old. She drew a self portrait...And gave herself boobs...Did I mention she is only four?!?!?!?! What are we going to do with that one lol
The Bad
The computer I have in my room is the old family computer, and it is horribly dated. Talking 1.133 ghz here. Note to mention I have a behemoth of a monitor compared to our flat screen. Only 15 inches (I think) to boot. And to top it all off, I don't have a computer desk, so I made a ghetto desk out of my dresser and drawers Oh well...Looks like I'll be spending some money here so on furniture and upgrades.
The Ugly
The drama with my sister never seems to fail. We recevied not one, but two, notices from The Money Tree about checks they refused to cash. Apparently she is stealing again, and she used our address. Not to mention that she has yet to meet with her parole officer yet, so we have been getting phone calls from her as well. Won't be too surprised if the cops start showing up at our house...Again...
Super Bowl
I'm rooting for the Steelers to win the Super Bowl even more now. Seahawks fans have been bashing our boy "Lights Out" Merriman ever chance they get now. I hope the Steelers give em hell for their blasphemy! By the way, if you want to read a great discussion about the Super Bowl, I suggest you check out this thread: Go Seahawks!!! on my clan's forums. I post as PX_Phoenix for those of you who don't know. Our logic and arguments are flawless...lol
