When I was in Guatemala in August I visited a center for malnurited infants...in the states it would be similair to our social services. But a third world countries version of social services is an amazingly lonely, filthy place for a child to live. There were two people looking after 35 children. Some of the kids had lice, open sores, and very few of them would smile. but when you picked them up they didn't want you to put them down. Made me wonder just what kind of horrible situations these kids came from that this was a better place for them.
This little guys name was Vilbur, I tried to get him to smile but it wasn't happening. Then he pee'd on me.
