Once in a while I'll dig up my old dating site profiles and update them. Then browse around and send a few messages. I've not once heard back and I'm not looking for any sort of pity as I'm sure the women on those sites must get flooded with messages. My question is has anyone actually had anything successful come from one of those sites? The only thing that ever happens to me is I end up feeling very disgusted with myself and demoralized. Why is so so gosh damn hard to meet people in real life scenarios I don't even know where I'd go. And if I did actually go somewhere public my damn social awkwardness would cripple me from really speaking to anyone.
Forgive my ramblings. My mind is a tough place to be sometimes and I feel like writing it out helps a bit.
