So it seems like spring is finally here in Michigan. Its about time! This past winter was so oppressive.
Yesterday was the perfect example of why I love Ann Arbor. The first Saturday of April since the 70's has been "Hash Bash". The weather couldn't have been more perfect. I love seeing all the pot heads come out and get all dressed up for it!
The local Hare Krishna group came out to give a little show. The singing and dancing added an extra kick to hash bash!
Then the local bible thumper was on his stand again screaming messages about how we are all going to hell when we die. These people make me sick! Usually I just walk on by. Ignoring there offers of pamplets detailing how to not burn forever in hell. Yesterday I just couldn't. So an old man got an ear full!
I'd rather have the Hare Krishna's any day to the bible thumpers! The Hare Krishna were a lot more fun to watch and the look HAPPY. Can't say that for the holy rollers.

Hooray for spring! I have to say, the only religious nuts who seem to have LESS fun than the bible-thumpers are the islamic fundamentalists. Now the Sufi's, they know how to have a good time.
