so, since 6pm this evening this what i have done:
1. $15 worth of laundry
2. i drank an entire bottle of sauvignon blanc
cooked a dinner of vegetable ravioli with a dash of the white wine i was drinking, olive oil, artichoke hearts, fresh tomatoe, and garlic. pretty yum, but the fresh tomatoes made it a bit bitter...what did i care though because i
3. got drunk
4. folded all of that laundry and cleaned the bathroom (drunk)
5. i messed around with craig, ya know...
6. i made an ornament for the tree
7. walked outside in chin numbing cold winds at 10:30 for a half an hour and played soccer with ice balls all the way to the store to keep warm, then soccer turned into ice croquet. went shopping for a few items such as swifter tile spray and uh, meatless meatballs
8. walked back freezing my thighs off, i swear i felt like a half thawed piece of chicken
and now i am here, attempting my 3rd journal entry because i am a halfwit. i lost three thick paragraphs of tipsy babble, which makes me mad because some of it had nice word combos...anyway.
i saw depeche mode last wednesday and they were absolutely brilliant! after all these years, they still have so much passion and drive. they are only more energetic than ever before. martin gore now dances on stage like karl hyde from underworld. he is like a techno freak as well as a johnny cash adult contemporary musician, it is crazy and cool i think. i saw him spin techno records at the hiro ballroom last june. great stuff.
it must be hard to choose a set list with all those great albums, songs, singles, etc. i amglad they did not play a ton of the new stuff. although it grows on me, their old stuff is just the best, sooooo nostalgic, and that is my middle name. i even have a cut off cure shirt, like an aerobics instructor from '86. i will post some pictures i took tonight with this shirt. they are not "good" photos or anything, but to put an entry with a picture is always a good time you know. i was being a poser in one of them (not a wanna be, a person who poses).
2 more days..."everybody's working for the weekend" I seriously sing this song more than anyone has since the week it hit the charts!
