why am i awake at 10 a.m. after drinking a bottle of rum last night? not quite sure.

echo and the bunnymen are tonight and i am so psyched (what am i a cheerleader? p-s-y-c-h-e-d that's the way we spell rowdy) because after, ya know, 20 years, their music still pleases me ears. however, a lot of the new stuff sounds like the verve, which, in turn, the verve must like echo because the bunnymen are older and wiser. but then i think, maybe echo is influenced by the verve...this could be possible. OR MAYBE i need to stop comparing shit, because that is all i ever do.

i am addicted to both netflix and buying dvds and sometimes, i hate netflix because i will end up renting something such as...apocalypse now, which is an amazing film, and why am i renting this, when i should be buying this. i have seen it 10,000 times, if i watch it one more time it would be worth the buy. i need to save the netflixs for hollywood blockbusters that i want to see, but once. i bought batman, the pickup artist (robert downy jr. ) east is east, the royal tenenbaums (criterion collection), aberdeen (?), and my first mister yesterday, all for $ 30. that is dead cheap...even if i chuck them out the window when i am through who cares? it was 10 check it out...

???????????? i love symbols and macs, because macs make it so easy, pcs make it freeking hard to make symbols. 10 quid. oh, it is the time of the year that i get a broken aching heart to be in england. i have such a fondness for that small island of goodness. i am such nerd, an anglophile, still, after all these years, it is really quite absurd. i do not know, something about the u.k. gives me such intense emotions and good spirit (ireland too for that matter, just as good a feeling, however, i know the u.k. better). i need to go there soon, even if just the weekend.

my dad grounded me once for 2 weeks because i hung a union jack on my bedroom door next to an Xed out american flag. he had been in the us navy for 22 years and he was pretty pissed. hey, i was 12 years old! i did not mean to disrespect my father... he is still a republican, but he has chilled out a bit. okay, time to watch batman. i love "batdance" by prince...i think i sing that song at least once a week..."ohh yeah oh yeah, i wanna bust that body, ohh yeah" i did a dance to that song in my dance class in '91. a huge production class, competition and that...it was really kinda cool actually. i miss dance class. i think i will go back, maybe some ballet and modern classes at least, maybe some jazz

i need to upload some pictures and sunday movie my hangover away now...i get really depressed when i am hungover these days. the older i get the more depressed with booze i get. is this a sign of alcoholism? okay, this is not aa, gotta jam---------------------------------------
