Oh my god, I'm in so much trouble.

Just now, I decided to throw out my plans for a new tattoo. Instead I bought a baby sun conure. For those who have not had the pleasure of meeting one, they are one of the most sweet-natured and beautiful birds in the world. Also uh, sort of expensive. I'm justifying the expense by cancelling my tattoo plans, but the conure is possibly still more expensive. My boyfriend isn't awake yet, but I expect to get in a bit of strife when he comes in here.

This wasn't totally spur of the moment - I've been wanting to buy a new bird for ages, and I love conures. I just wasn't going to do it today. But oh, I had my tax return money that I'd put aside for the tattoo, and he was just so beautiful and... ugh, I'm useless.

I have three tasks ahead of me. One, to name him; two, to train him to not chew on my earrings; and three, to stop my boyfriend from killing me. Anyone fancy my chances?
