Today has been Super-Vacation Project Day! In lots of ways, I have great difficulty sitting still. I blame it on no longer smoking like a chimney. 4-5 years ago I could always be found in the wild, book in one hand, clove in the other, cup of coffee within grasp and could (and have) spend my vacation polishing off 8 books in that week.

In case I didn't mention it, which is entirely possible, my vacation starts tomorrow at 10pm...maybe earlier! Yes, vacation! My job gives me enormous amounts of vac & sick time off. Usually the problem I run up against is I'm too important, too needed to everyday work life to get more than a 3-day weekend away.

I am sick yet am not... I caught something that started Saturday as an ominous tickle in the throat and congestion. It has nicely blossomed into coughing up lovely shades of yellow and green.
