Brief midnight update. I was successful in contacting the necessary go-to person within the previous entry's human services agency. She surprisingly had an opening available to meet with the agency's president on that same day. In the grand scope of the hopes I'd built up for the appointment, there's good news and bad news... The good news is the fourth interview went fine. I answered questions thoughtfully, clearly navigated firey hoops w/o scorching myself, etc. My disappointment was in this fellow having a few hours to prepare for our meeting, when I showed up he had no idea why I was there, what I was applying towards and what to do with me after our discussions. I'd hoped that this occaision would prove to be the actual job offering, not just another opportunity to come back yet again. I've given them a few days to breathe ("How many days do you guys wait before calling back?" "Eight days."). So I'll perform another round of calling around tomorrow morning and see where that gets me... Hopefully it gets me a job! 
In geekier updating, I'd recently been growing frustrated with efforts of modded Xbox co-operation. I decided to ditch the some 40+ games saves on its hard drive, back-up the select few genuinely used and update its bios and install new dashboards, etc. I downloaded the newest version of Auto Installer Deluxe and immediately started solving glitches. I discovered that the wonderful people developing the Xbox Media Center recently rolled a new build of their application...okay, it's big news to me.
I disassembled the originaly installer program, inserted all of the new software and recompiled the program. Happily, everything works far better than I'd hoped for! I now have much better interconnectivity for streaming content from this computer into the Xbox in the next room...say hello to streaming video podcasts, extracted music videos, bit torrented movies and iTunes support. Huzzah!
The next step is swaying folk to sign-up for Xlink Kai and its tunneling/networking services. Few things could be more fun than SG multiplayer gaming, especially if the services are free and the games themselves are *coughcopiedandpassedaroundcough*. Food for thinking.
For now, perhaps a last nod for The Big 'E' on Sunday! As always, carpooling services are wide open.
