More randomness in the way of my world this week... In the SG absences department, I've been talking to my missing sister, chiquitabonita. Charlotte is treating her well, she's up to the task of exploring more and likes the idea of new beaches to stare at and take pictures of. She and PornStarGuy aren't likely to be setting themselves up with a land-line as they both have cell phones. So, they may be likely to go grey prior to their successful reappearance to our online shores here. Cable modems and routers must be acquired first...
In my fleating moment of having a couple of pennies to rub together, I've been doing smatterings of shopping this week. I realized that I hadn't bought any clothes for myself since last summer and in all likelihood, I'd need a few things. A small number of cotton oxfords, sport knits and herringbone pants passing through the house, speeding to the cleaners while I still have a 50% discount there.
On this fantastic brainstorm, I also thought of Googling for a replacement earpiece for my favorite Sony earbuds. As it's $40 for an entirely new set, I didn't want to have to pay that to replace a 1/4" piece of black silicone. Luckily there is a eBay vendor who sells these same silicone pieces for $5 each... Yes, the motherfucker is making a killing but, it's well worth the price, non?
In getting a hold of AmazonRed13 for Friday's SGCT Movie Night, I garnered new intel on the job prospect... It turns out I've been hired! She's been passed down the word that it's been settled, a sure thing and they just have to get me in the office to shake my hand and talk about the benefits I'd be raking in hand over fist.
In having the spectors of utility and credit card companies haunt ever closer, I was told that I'll be making approx. $9-10 more an hour than I'm seeing now! *shouts, hoots, hollers, exclaims and collects self to finish writing* I just have to call the Human Resource gatekeeper promptly at 9:04am on Monday to do the best to seal the deal and get my ass in the door ASAP.
Speaking of Movie Night... Monty Python + SGCT + SkyBox Bar+ after-hours movie theater inhabiting + coolers of beer = good times!
