First off, immeasurable thanks to everyone who came out to AlienPrincess' B-Day shindig! 
I hope everyone had as much as I did! We're aiming to have another something or another once we've settled into our new place. Where that is has yet to be determined... 
I'm sure AP would be carrying on about it on her page (she may be, I haven't checked. Bad boyfriend, bad!) but she's been running around, losing sleep now that her nursing program started back from its break.
My time off of the past couple of days has been both enjoyable but equally stressful... I'd go into more depth but details are still sticky and continually forth coming. At the very least, I've been able to spend time w/ AP for her b-day & vacation, have the housewarming party I've wanted under the guise of a b-day party and 1 1/2 years after we'd moved in.
Time off is equal parts blessing and curse and I've yet to figure out when it ends exactly and will I be happy when it does. *shrug*
At the party, the ever-greyed AmazonRed13 asked me if I was excited about Thursday... "Uh, no... Why what's Thurday?", was the reply. "NINE INCH NAILS in BOSTON?!?!"
Yeah, so I'd forgotten that I'm going to see Nine Inch Nails at the Orpheum in Boston tonight! I'd somehow thought that the concert was next month, happily that's not the case.
What else, I've been catching up w/ DarkRabbit on a nearly weekly basis... I was able to ship out more books to him yesterday. Hopefully the 3000-page care package of fiction should last a while. He's bumming about the lack of stuff to do and hints that he'd care for a smattering of mail from folk. I feel especially guilty as I've yet to write him (Bad best frind, bad!). 
Expect to see a post from him within a day... It's the miracle of snail mail updating!

yeah, well, I had to run off to work immediately after the show! i was fortunate enough to be able to attend the soundcheck earlier that day (and meet the band!!!), where they played "the wretched", which i heard they opened the friday show with. and i still have that special nin 7" for you...you'll end up with it eventually.
