Happily, I've had a wonderful week! My boss announced that he was taking the weekend and its surrounding days off...in other words, a couple of days to better dictate my own time. Tuesday I stopped by and scheduled an appointment for getting Mucha's "Moon" tattooed. March 15 is the day and Christian cleared his calendar to work on the piece all day! 
While there, I bumped into my friend, Dave the Chef, getting some work done. He's been executive chef at a number of amazing local restaurants and he announced that he's opening his own place. More fantastic news! The info made me further day dream about entering culinary school. 
Tuesday also marked the 14th B-Day of my (and chiquitabonita's) younger brother... I was able to be in the delivery room as he was caught and it's beginning to weird me out that he has out grown me.
It was certainly expected...he's thought to be at least 6'4". At 14, he has also stretched out and grown into a remarkably cool person. He's gone through far more than I did by his age and to his credit, I think he'll turn out to be the far better egg.
This weekend will mark the first in a while where I'll be up to nothing for the most part... I'm trying to get in contact with a frind of mine for catching up over dinner and drinks but, nothing quite yet. I may give ElmCityDrunk a call and see what he's up to. Since we live a whole 5-7 minutes away from one another, he's fallen into the fantastic position of go-to drinking buddy.
