Lazy day... Slept late. Caught up on bill paying prior to loosing the rest of my paycheck to the holiday and its toll. Called SBC about checking in on some wonky DSL speeds.

AlienPrincess and I ended up eating dinner over at my parents' place in Woodbridge. We'd brought over the extended edition of LOTR: Return of the King and they joined in on watching. A li'l bit of Mom's chili, a li'l bit of last minute catalog ordering. The trip guaranteed that AP has a decked out pair of LL Bean slippers in time for Xmas.

Tomorrow will likely be a couple of random projects... Prior to the really cold weather, I'd installed a number of those shink wrap style window insulator kits. Every window in the place is covered except for our bedroom. I'd saved that knowing I'd need to have some sort of sharp reminder to finish the job. Well, the seven degree temps outside are serving that function all too well.

The other pet project is setting up my SBC voice mail account... Anyone who currently tries to call here is most likely receiving a message saying that I'm a git and should be reminded at every turn to complete this painfully simple task.

I've been checking comments in SGCT from survivors of ElmCityDrunk's Xmas party... I was also curious that our next event is? There looks to be a number of not-so-locals who are returning home and aiming for a good time. Hmmm... Check in there and let's get a plan in motion!

Perhaps that's enough and even all for now...
