Hello true believers... I'm getting my drunken PC repair tech on for the second night in a row. With permission, I've stole my desktop PC from work in order to solve a number of problems... There's been bizarre error messages, the odd viral infection, no reliable way to backup data and slow performance. So, I've installed my old CD-RW drive that's homeless after my DVD-RW Xmas present to myself. I reformatted and re-installed Win XP Pro and am currently installing shit that the computer's been lacking: Zone Alarm Pro, Norton Systemworks, GoBack, Nero Burning Rom, etc. Hopefully my technophobic superior at work will have little to complain about in the future.

AlienPrincess and myself were able to hangout with ElmCityDrunk as well as GrumpyBear last night. ECD has had computer woes for some time. Nothing big but seemingly annoying. We installed a CD-RW drive that Laerkai had lying around. We also used MS's Tweak UI program to cure his having to log on onto his single user computer. Next: Installing burning software while drinking several beers...all at once! *gasp*

I've also been working on a sangria recipe that I'd stumbled upon over Turkey Day week... So far, it's successfully made my ears and cheeks much warmer and tates quite good. It also has made watching download and installation progress bars far less painful to watch. Perhaps this would be an appropriate item to bring here.
