Hola all! Many many thanks for your best wishes towards chiquitabonita and our family at large... For the most part, everyone has expected my grandmother's passing for some time now. Some family are understanding that her extreme uncomfortablility has been eased, some are coming out of the woodwork w/ anecdotes and piss & vinegar stories from days passed. Some, like my mother and her sisters, just miss their mom.

Yesterday I was able to hangout w/ a number of cool folk... Spent a brief amount of time w/ ElmCityDrunk in league w/ chiquitabonita. I'm trying to solve some slower computers woes easily. Ram upgrades, spyware installs, start-up nit picking, etc. More to follow perhaps on Wednesday.

I had drinks w/ my friends Mike and Lisa... Both had worked with me at the book store I helped run many moons ago. We enjoyed espresso martinis aplenty and chocolate fondue at The Blue Pearl. We headed back to Lisa's to drink recently purchased cider, watch a South Park funniest episode countdown and the hundreds of Girls Gone Wild commercials in between.

Plans for today consist of having more coffee with alienprincess before she heads to work. I'm probably going to my 'rents to check on everyone and to root around for a docking hub device for the laptop I've perma-loaned to DarkRabbit. He's stressed that I should attend the KMFDM concert in Hartford tomorrow... I'd care to but I have to pay for a plane ticket to be used in November as well as a small stack of bills.
