To say the least, a fair amount had happened over the past few days... To start, many thanks to ElmCityDrunk for hosting the usual Wednesday Soiree! It's been a thrill to be able to hang out with some of my favorite people on a very regular basis...though we may have to call those mornings sooner. 
KareBear now officially has no excuses for not hanging out. You live too nearby not to be a funtime fixture! Nods to the duo of Conceptor and Sei as well as KreatinKaos for showing up. Next week I start having to report to work by 9am so sadly, I'll have to clear out no later than like 12-1am. Perhaps I'll be able to use some of my insane amounts of vacation time to plan ahead for the odd beer & music bender. 
I had a pretty breezy day at work... I had to help conduct a staff meeting and needed the opportunity to begin a couple of steps to move a few tracking protocols I'd written ahead. That also serves as a shot across the bow of some lazy staffers. They've now had clear expectations of easy work laid out for them. If they don't care to participate, it may effect their working there.
chiquitabonita and I received some expected though difficult news... Our grandmother's health is in the process of failing and she's not expected to survive the next week. I spent most of my evening over there trying to pitch in and help by whatever means possible. A difficult objective for my mom and her three sisters, having little to do, nudge each other out of the way eager to clean up the smallest spill, the tidying of magazines long since read.
I called around and found coverage for Sunday, normally a thirteen hour day, knowing that I'll be put to work somehow. I'll either be shuffling relatives, babysitting children of cousins or consoling my younger brother in his being thrust into the awkwardly entertaining-others spotlight. I'll probably be around, checking comments and firing off as many as possible back to you all. So TTFN.

He's gotten his account off the ground and will be an undoubted visible group presence. Get a cool-as-hell newb's friendship while the gettin's good!
