Birthdays...never is there a day that so circumstancially derails itself. I ususally don't like birthdays not for the growing old part but, for the lack of doing whatever it is that I want to do, when and where. This year it wasn't too bad... The main difficulty was dealing with an acquaintance who's moving to Baltimore within the next month or so. He's also one of those friends who never leaves and just hangs out...forcing you to half-entertain him by some measure. Most of the movies I'd rented I wasn't able to watch being familiar w/ his tastes and able to imagine the grimaces he'd make beforehand. Eh, whatever... AmazonRed13 made her annual tributes to our now five year friendship. LittleSister went out of her way to make some of my favorite food stuffs in the world.

Now, on to you motherfuckers!!! Thank you so much! Receiving so many comments from friends and strangers alike remind me how amazing the members of this site are and how awesome my friends are in particular! I can't say thanks enough to you...

Boston! So much fun was had... AmazonRed13, Elbereth and I were able to anchor the car in Harvard Sq and galavant around the town. We snatched lunch at Veggie Planet and shared our food finds hand over fist. *drool of rememberance* We made our way to the Virgin Megastore and the book signing there. The Girls put on a PG-13 preview of the show @ The Middle East. I got copies of the books for Buddha, King_Of_Skulls and myself signed. El has been rib-poking about the comment Missy left about how I was cute... I say that she probably wrote that in every fifth book similar to yearbook signing. My jeering girlfriend pointed out that I was clearly the catch in the room compared to the varied hairy strange men who came out to the in-store event. I think most SGBoston members were at the club already.

At the show, our troop was able to meet tons of new folk... Gumbercules...I can't say enough how happy I am to have finally met you! Hanging out inside only reminds how much I can't wait to chat and huddle w/o having to scream to one another at the top of our lungs. Su, gasmaskboy and the lovely Sid. Meeting more folk makes me want to make another fieldtrip up there as soon as possible!

So, I think that catches us up to today... Elbereth has off until Thursday. We're going to flop around, nuzzle and try to do as little as possible. I do have those random rentals left as well as a good friend who runs a movie theater...catching up on new releases may be in the near future. Dunno...I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and I'll be making appearances in your journals soon friends.
