The surprise of my day ruled! I took my car into the shop to have a two-season old non-existent symptom examined. Rather than pay upwards of $200-300 for parts and labor, I pay for the oil change & tire rotation. It seems the mechanic agreed w/ my statement that there was wrong with my heater...it makes with the hotness just fine! So, it seems I can afford to buy a much bigger memory card for the camera I'm getting in a couple of weeks.
I've been finding myself double and triple-checking my DSL modem. My connection goes back online in about a week from today and I can't help wondering if they got their act together faster somehow... *looks under computer desk again and indeed, there is no LED alight*
Tomorrow I look forward to a meeting of some favorite minds...those of my girl and her new friends. First round of coffee & espresso is on me!
