Be warned im gonna bitch and moan for a bit
i got into it with the people at my station. they're mad because me and red west wont drive to montery park to do the show. first of all thats a long drive for us, second its during fucking rush hour traffic!! i told them to pay for my gas and ill go. our studio was in upland for the longest until they split it up 4 ways and now we gotta wait for them to build us another one. but we think they ran out of money to do it and i also have a problem doing a 4 hour show..4 shours of rockabilly five days a week.that means were gonna run out of music pretty quick and have to start playing the same shit over and over. also i work at least 9 hours a day sometimes even 11 hours. so after a long shift at sears id have to drive for a good hour to the house where we broadcast from. and drive back at 10 pm every fucking day.. fuck that! i have other shit i gotta do. plus they fill red's head with all kinds of bull shit promises. just about every other word these assholes told us was bull shit. but i didnt care because i liked doing the show. it was fun. if it wasn't for red and i nobody would know about "xradio.biz" we brought listeners and actual guest.. we had some of the coolest people in rockabilly on our show. people in the scene know us and like us so they would do interviews, call us, send us to their shows and send us there merch. no one at xradio had those kind of connections with anybody! Red's gonna talk with the owner of the company to see whats up. but even if he does and gets the show back im pretty much done with it. you burn me once and im fucking done with you. im not gona waste my time to help some one else that isnt willling to help me out or be grateful for my help. i told Red this already so he knows how i feel and im sure hes done with them too... i was just pissed that they had the nerve to tell us they needed "solid people" when we were the ones that busted ass and came out of pocket just to get people to listen to us.. but it was fun while it lasted and its a learning experince and im gonna try to get the show onto a REAL radio station... but i met some really great people and made a ton of new friends and we still get treated great when were at a show. so its no big loss..
enough of that shit..sorry guys i just needed to vent.. im gonna enjoy my weekend and relax ive been working way too much..i guess you can say its been an electrifying week.. hahaha i got shocked at work the other day. long story. more of an inside joke between me and my Vixen (
