Sad news to report today. a friend had is most loved possesion stolen from him (his guitar).. not wanting to go into too much about this man but heres a little bit..this guy is amazing on guitar..hes the nicest swetest old man you will ever meet. hes also extremely smart, this guy could talk to you for hours about music (any style of music he knows it all), instruments, and life in genral..he doesnt have money and basicly what keeps him going is his music and love for it. so im just gonna post what ive been posting all over Myspace.. im putting it up everywhere because everybody in the rockabilly scene is connected some how..and some one might know something..

(2/19/05) the guitar player (Mikey) of Cherry Mae and The Rocket Boys had his most loved possesion stolen (his guitar) at the El Cid (california).. a little note about Mikey.. this man is FUCKING amazing on guitar.. he loves this thing, music is all this man has and loves. Hes also a great man that would never steal from another person, so it really is a shame this happened to him..

the guitar is a Gretsch Super Chet just like the one John Lennon used. It has an oversized head stock with large turning knobs, a bigsby, and the tone and volume knobs are on the pickguard
