Well hi there , Fancy meeting you here , come here often ???
So came back from country road trip up to Echuca & bendigo for work last night . Had a great time driving and seeing just how beautiful our country side is . Stayed with Dallas and her husband up in whittlesea the past two days as she is our vic rep and is going on maternity leave soon so i'm getting to go out and meet the peeps . Her father ans grandfather live in Kinglake , right in the heart of the bushfires that happened earlier this year in that fucked up heatwave we had , Unfortunately they both l;ost there houses in the fire but got out with there lives . it was amazing sitting down with them and hearing them share all about there experiences over those three days and uptil now . Dallas took me up to there places and showed me around the devastation that the fire created , from what i saw on telly it really dose not reflect the shear magnitude of this fire and the shear size of damage done . i will put up some photo's that i took while up there . We have had rain and the contrast between lush green grass and burnt forest is really very bizarre . It was great to see people rebuilding and clearing land that should have been done before .
this is coowns road where dallas's father and grandfather live , unfortunately not allot of people got out and this street is where brian nailor lived as well (Australian news reader ) .
I feel a bit weird putting these up but will put a few more into a folder in my photo's section if your interested , obviously i tried to be respectful to the familys that lost loved ones ...
So thats a bit heavy , on to something light ..
have to go and stock up on booze tonight for my up coming party on sat . will post some photo's of said affair ..
