My daughter Little Red said dad we can fix her and make her healthy again. I said yes with a lot of work, time and love. Are you willing to put in the time and we are talking about a lot of time it's not going to happen over night. She said I will be in the barn every day after school, please I know I can fix this horse and make her healthy and happy dad.
Three months later my daughter has a health, happy mare she rides daily. And she named her new mare Paycheck because it cost her one of her paychecks to buy this mare from the Kentucky Humane society in central Kentucky. When we picked this 5 year old mare up she so skinny and weak like skin and bones and couldn't walk because of neglect of her hoofes.
My little cowgirl daughter Little Red has a really good Registered American Paint riding horse now and a new best friend. Proud of my preteen she practically lived in the barn the last 3 months. Dedicated to getting this mare healthy and happy.
Included a photo of my daughter's other horses Miss 420 and Zippy.
