Having a amazing week so far with so many things happening. And the main thing is I'm happy and healthy. The only thing I'm hating about my week is the weather. My SG bestie @jadestone did the same homework and mentioned the weather. We our experiencing extreme heat in the Midwest and the South East. So hot outside it's miserable and the humidity is terrible. Today we had a 105 degree heat index in central Kentucky. The heatwave summer has me cancelling my Aug. vacation plans for Chicago IL.
With the extreme heat, I've been spending my afternoons indoors in the air conditioning. And was able to finish some home improvement projects. I finally finished my bathroom and my new whirlpool tub project is finished. With my oldest daughter in college now. I reclaimed a nice bedroom and turned it into a guest bedroom. Actually my oldest daughter Little Weed helped me convert her old bedroom into a quest bedroom. I got to spend some time with her before she left for college.
My next child is a full time job and I don't have any place to talk about raising a 9yr old daughter. With the exception of this website and Little Red started back to school on Tuesday. Over the weekend I got to spend some time with her. There's something she asked me about doing this summer. Going camping and fishing and we spent the weekend. Going to Saunders Springs Nature Persevere, swimming and fishing on Friday. We fished in the flooded timber from recent rain storms in the lake at the nature preserve. And I watched my little girl catch the biggest bass of her little lifetime. Sat and Sun I rented a cabin and we went trout fishing in Witch Creek, Otter Creek and Moonshine Creek. Check out my video's I posted of these beautiful creeks streams and springs. I almost forgot we went fishing on Thursday on Timberlakefarms. Monday I dropped my daughter off at my friend's hair and nail salon. So she could get her hair cut and dyed before returning back to school. And Jacy, Jaden and Miranda have the coolest hair and nail salon in Kentucky specifically designed for alternative girls and they love my little girl. I went to pick my daughter up not knowing what color her hair was going to be and I couldn't find her. Miranda said Jacy's almost finished with your daughter she's giving her a spray tan on her legs. We love your daughter and she's getting the full salon treatment. Anyway when she walked out I couldn't believe how beautiful my little girl looked with her new noen pink hair. When she was 5yrs old she wanted blue hair. I said you go to school everyday and make straight A's you can have any color hair you want. She's never missed a day of school and makes straight A's so I allow my daughter to be alternative. We had one more stop and all her school shopping was done. I actually dropped her off for the first time by herself at the mall. Because she's very mature for her age and thinks she's all growed up. And she said dad I have my pepper spray and I'll kick a predators in the balls. I said what ever little girl I'll see you in one hour. I picked her back up and I noticed something. I said little girl what are you doing with a Victoria Secrets bag. She said I told you I was buying some regular girl panties and a normal girl cute bikini. And Victoria Secrets has back to school special's. I had no clue Victoria Secrets let's girls and preteens in there store's. I told you this daughter is a full time job but she's actually a good kid. Her mother Jamie has a drug addict problem. So I decided I will raise this little girl and I've had Little Red her entire life.
Now I can talk about what I've been doing since my daughter is back in school. I've been selling fresh vegetables every morning and evening to all my customers from the farmers market. I started advertising this year and I'm selling fresh vegetables directly from my farm. And 70% of my customers are pretty vegan girls. For some reason being vegan is really popular in Kentucky. And I'm still seeing the pretty alternative girl I met at the gas station 3 weeks ago Megan. The only problem is she doesn't have any kids. I told her I'm a package deal I come with a little girl and she wants to meet you. Megan said she likes kids and she's ready to meet my little girl.
Before I forget Little Red is turning 10yrs old this weekend. And she wants to visit her sister and check out her apartment and the University of Kentucky or UK. My homework @missy and @penny
