Well back from vacation - was away about a month.
The Social D album is just about a month away now and I'm pretty excited, been waiting quite a few years now. Unfortunately, I found out that the song Angel's Wings has been completely revamped and is completely different from the version they have been playing live for the last couple of years. That's a bummer it was a great song and I was waiting for a studio version but I guess I'll have to stick with the old bootlegs.
Should be goin to Vegas next week to catch Face to Face for one of their last shows ever. If everything works out it should be awesome.
It's hard to believe I haven't been to any kind of show in almost a year. I must be getting old. Well Face to Face and Social D should be able to bring me out of my slump.
I've come to the conclusion lately I'm not a big fan of tattoos anymore. It just seems that everyone and their mother has them now. It's become less of an artform and more of fashionably hip pop culture thing. Eh, who knows I'll probably change my mind next week.
Wanda Jackson's new album "Heart Trouble" is all I been listening too lately. I hit repeat and just let it go. Good tunes. She's still kickin and better than ever. Guess she still hasn't gotten over that rockabilly fever.
