I bought some very nice apple curtains. My best friend britcaulfeild got them for me half price at the thrift store she works at.
I think the apple curtains are just about perfect.
They don’t match my room, they are too short for my windows and they have this old woman smell to them…But, when I held them up to my window this morning and they let the perfect amount of sunlight in. I was very pleased.

I was just sitting on my back deck waiting for my dog to finish sniffing around the lawn and I noticed two of the houses behind me were having bon fires. It was beautiful to watch the distant glow of the flames, and I it smelt wonderful. I wish I were invited to a bon fire tonight. It’s a little chilly, but I think I would love it anyway.

I’m thinking of possibly asking this cute boy I have a pathetic crush on if he would like to come to my house for a weekend in May. Do you think I should send him the invitation?
