I spent the last few hours packing, or really, throwing clothes on the floor. I made a useless checklist and then asked everyone in my house where we keep the suitcases.
Apparently they are in the attic. Even after I asked the same person 3 times, they still haven’t got a ladder and took one down for me.

I haven’t been away, to anywhere, in a long time. Usually, I go somewhere over night, two nights max, and I shove all my stuff in a backpack. A backpack wont cut it this time. I have piles of t-shirts on my floor and a whole bag of underwear, and an arm full of clothes I’m sure I wont ware, but I still insist on keeping in the ‘go’ pile.
britcaulfeild, I have a lot of stuff…I hope you have a big trunk.
Or…I hope by Sunday I can shrink my pile down to something that can fit in a duffle bag...
