waxlips

Yeah so last night I was supposed to go to Pointless fest but I unfortunately drank far too much to even move around until two in the afternoon. I got my friend Mike to come to the North Star Bar to see Tsunami Bomb with me since he's all heartbroken over a girl right now that he wanted to marry who dumped him. I figured it would get his mind off of things and for a while it did. We got to see Pipedown who I really like, Lawrence Arms who sucked (too emo for my taste, sounded like New Found Glory and they totally messed up the first song), Orange Island who weren't too bad and of course Tsunami Bomb who played awesome.
We left at ten thirty and were calling a kid who lived in Philly to see when the last train was leaving to our area.
It had left an hour previous.
We had to call all sorts of people to try and find a ride home and ended up walking from North Philly to 16th and Chestnut, around five miles. The whole time I had to piss and I was getting more and more irritated at our friends who got lost trying to find us. They ended up picking us up around 1:30 in the morning but all in all it was worth it to go to a show again, I hadn't been to one in soo long and I think I helped Mike figure some things out about his girl.
